- Beef mince 20-25% fat400g
- Brown onions100g
- Passata500g
- Penne / fusilli400g
- Mature cheddar100g

Method

Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan, gas 6).

Cook 400g pasta for 2 minutes less than the pack says, then drain.

Fry 400g beef mince and 1 chopped onion for 8 minutes. Add 500g passata and simmer for 5 minutes, then season.

Mix the pasta into the sauce, tip into a baking dish and top with 100g grated cheddar.

Bake for 20 minutes until golden and bubbling.
